Description
Hawks's dazzling Technicolor musical about two little girls from Little Rock on a ship bound for France is simply irresistible. It just doesn't get any better than Jane Russell singing "Ain't There Anyone Here for Love" to the men's Olympic team... unless it's Marilyn Monroe singing "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" to a staircase lined with tuxedoed suitors. But don't worry—if this ship hits an iceberg and goes down, you won't be forced to choose between them—"these girls couldn't drown."
