No (wo)man's Land: Femicide and Impunity in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico

A cultural critic and literature professor, Lucia Melgar was a member of a research team on Cd. Juárez and has worked with NGO’s committed with women rights and access to justice in Mexico. She co-edited Fronteras, violencia, justicia, nuevos discursos, a book on gender violence in Mexico’s Northern and Southern borders. She is currently research coordinator of the Program in Gender Studies at UNAM, Mexico.
