Description
May is Wisconsin Historic Preservation and Wisconsin Archaeology Month. Mark Bruhy, Heritage Program Manager with the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, will examine the history of the forest from an archaeological perspective. Suzanne Flory, Public Affairs and Fire Information Officer, will discuss the positive and negative effects of fire on the forest. She will also share her stories of what it’s like to be “on a fire.”
