Legendary American folk singer, songwriter and activist Joan Baez remains a musical force of nature. Her influence is incalculable and her music has served as the soundtrack of many social movements. In 2007, at the 49th annual Grammy Awards, Baez received the highly prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, the greatest honor that the Recording Academy can bestow.
