Prof. Ella Mae Matsumura, associate professor in accounting and information systems in the Wisconsin School of Business, will discuss a study that examines the relationship between carbon emissions and firm value, as well as the relationship between carbon emissions and the components of firm value -- cost of equity capital, cost of debt and expected future cash flows.
