CREECA BALSSI Event: The Singing Revolution, Discussion and Reflection

Join a discussion of the 2008 documentary The Singing Revolution, which tells the story of the Baltic nations' -- especially Estonia's -- non-violent struggle for freedom from Soviet occupation. BALSSI instructors Iveta Grinberga and Mall Pesti will show excerpts from the film and will share their own experiences as eyewitnesses to the historic events of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
