Description
The lecturer is Amanda Swain, doctoral candidate at the University of Washington. On May 14, 1972, several thousand young people took to the streets in Kaunas, the second largest city in the Lithuanian Soviet Socialist Republic, after the self-immolation of 19-year-old Romas Kalanta in the city center.
