Description
In this poetic reexamination of the Orpheus myth, Sarah Ruhl explores love and loss through the experiences of Eurydice. After mistakenly taking a letter from her Father, Eurydice plunges into the Underworld. As Orpheus, Eurydice’s beloved fiancé, seeks to rescue her from death, Eurydice must choose between her love and her father. A pre-performance lecture is on April 7; and a post-performance discussion is on April 14.
