Description
In the midst of the hot war between North and South Korea, a cold war erupts between two grandmothers when one curses the Communists who killed her son, Dong-man’s father. The other, Dong-man’s maternal grandmother, is deeply irritated—her son, Dong-man’s uncle—is a guerrilla fighter for North Korea. “A projection of Koreans’ unique pathos and historical sorrow” (Shin Kang-Ho).
