11th Annual Littlefield Leadership Lecture

Donna Shalala, president of the University of Miami, will return to UW–Madison, where she served as chancellor from 1987-93, to present the keynote address. Shalala is chairing a panel charged with identifying new approaches to delivering care and proposing solutions to problems, including barriers to nurse education, recruitment, and retention. This two-year project, the Initiative on the Future of Nursing, is funded by the Institute of Medicine and the RWJ Foundation.
