This is a Humanities Without Boundaries event -- the flagship public program of the Center for the Humanities. Seyla Benhabib writes about ethics, politics and economics, exploring questions of identity and community, democracy and difference, allegiances and affinities, and gender, citizenship and immigration. She is the author of "Situating the Self: Gender, Community and Postmodernism in Contemporary Ethics," winner of the National Educational Association’s best book of the year award.
