Description
Andy Warhol took thousands of portraits -- of the famous and unknown alike -- with Polaroid cameras. Many of the sitters, some in white makeup, pose over and over as the artist seeks to capture something essential. The Chazen was one of 183 college and university art museums to receive a curated selection of more than 100 Polaroids and 50 b&w prints as part of the Andy Warhol Photographic Legacy Program. This exhibition will show a significant selection of the Chazen’s Warhol photographs.
