Raewynn Connell is one of the leading theorists of gender relations internationally. Her book, Gender and Power, is a classic, receiving a special retrospective session at the Social Science History Association at its November meeting. As a theorist of class and education as well as gender, Connell has added important intersectional insights into the working of intersectional inequality.
