Eduardo Bonilla-Silva is a prominent theorist of race and racism whose work has featured prominently in discussions of "colorblind racism" and debates about the structural character of racial discrimination in America. His book "White Supremacy and Racism in the Post-Civil Rights Era" received the 2002 Oliver Cox Cromwell Award; his 2006 "Racism Without Racists" is currently going into its third edition.
