Description
The UW Horn Choir’s annual holiday is a festive event for all ages. Douglas Hill has directed the horn choir since 1974. This is his final holiday concert as he will retire in 2011. This year’s ensemble of 15 music majors and a guest from Germany will perform a retrospective concert of works by colleagues, student arrangements and requests, a composition from the first horn choir concert in 1975, holiday favorites and “Gratitude,” an original octet by Hill. A reception follows the performance.
