Description
Ford’s rousing adventure adapted from a Rudyard Kipling story is that rare bird: a Shirley Temple vehicle that adults will love as much as children. In colonial India, the cherubic charmer Priscilla (aka Winkie) saves the day when she warms the hearts of a gruff British soldier (McLaglen) and a militant rebel leader (Cesar Romero). Cinematographer Arthur Miller’s original color tinting schemes have been restored in the new 35mm print that will be shown.
