Description
The Nuremberg trial laid the groundwork for all subsequent prosecutions for war crimes and genocide. Filmed over the 11 months of the trials and originally completed in 1948, this documentary was commissioned by the U.S. government, who suppressed the film from being shown to North American audiences. Adding new subtitles and an English narration, this restoration allows audiences a privileged glimpse at one of the 20th century most important legal dramas. Panel discussion after the screening.
