Description
An expert in French thrillers, director Henri-Georges Clouzot (Diabolique) was forced to shut down production on one of his most ambitious efforts, L’Enfer, after only three weeks of shooting in 1964. Combining footage that has been unseen for over forty years with contemporary interviews with L’Enfer’s surviving participants, collector, curator, and film preservationist Bromberg and his co-director Medrea, have assembled the definitive history of this movie that was never completed.
