Description
This eight-week ensemble class is open to all instruments and singers. We focus on the roles of the different instruments in a bluegrass band. Materials concentrate on the songs and instrumentals of the Father of Bluegrass, Bill Monroe. Choose to play rhythm or backup or advanced players can learn Monroe's unique melodies and approaches to instrumental solos. Singers learn bluegrass harmony. Instructor: Christopher Powers
