Description
The minority question dominated relations between Bulgaria and Greece in the interwar years. Theodora Dragostinova will discuss the shifty notions of national allegiances in the interwar Balkans by examining the conflicting policies and priorities of each country, the various definitions of minorities proposed by both sides, the role of the League of Nations in this minority controversy, and, finally, the reaction of minority individuals on the ground.
