Description
Presented by Alexandra Halkin, Americas Media Initiative - Cuba Media Project and Carlos Rodriguez, TV Serrana. Televison Serrana is an award-winning community video and television project that operates in the heart of the famous Sierra Maestro in Cuba. The project aims to “rescue the culture of peasant Cuban communities” by training campesinos in video production to document the stories of their remote Sierra Maestra communities. A light lunch and beverages will be served.
