Max Kade Institute Conference

The Max Kade Institute will mark the sesquicentennial of the beginning of the American Civil War by hosting a three-day international conference to examine the Civil War era from a unique angle, focusing on immigrants (especially those from German lands) and the global impact of the war (especially within German-speaking Europe).
