UW Chamber Orchestra

Program includes “Symphony No. 100” (“Military”) by Haydn; “Concerto for String Bass and String Orchestra” by contemporary Macedonian composer Zhivoin Glishich, with soloist Andrew Raciti; and “Le bourgeois gentilhomme,” Op. 60 by R. Strauss. Milwaukee native Andrew Raciti is assistant principal bass of the Milwaukee Symphony. Prior to joining the MSO in 2006, he spent nearly five seasons with the Sydney Symphony. He performs regularly with the new music ensemble Present Music in Milwaukee.
