Description
Piffaro performs music from the lands of the New World—from Mexico to Peru, from the new cathedrals of Oaxaca and Mexico City to Cuzco and Lima, from transplanted European composers to those drawn from the indigenous peoples—using shawms, dulcians, sackbuts, recorders, krumhorns, guitars, vihuelas, harps and percussion. Pre-concert lecture at 6:30 p.m.
