James Elser, the Center for Limnology’s Kaeser Scholar for 2011, visits campus on March 10 and 11. Elser is a professor of ecology, evolution and environmental science at Arizona State University specializing in biological stoichiometry, evolutionary ecology and limnology. (Elser presents again tomorrow, March 11, at the Biology Colloquium from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in 168 Noland Hall. The title of that talk is "Biological Stoichiometry: From Genes and Tumors to Agricultural Sustainability.")
