The Science of Fireworks

Join the Wisconsin Initiative for Science Literacy's Prof. Bassam Z. Shakhashiri & Dr. Rodney Schreiner at the Memorial Union Terrace for the Science of Fireworks, with special guests UW Director of Bands Mike Leckrone and members of his UW marching band! They will demonstrate the colorful, dazzling scientific phenomena that go into producing the fireworks that are the star attraction of Rhythm and Booms each year.
