WI State Lab of Hygiene Guest Lecture

Dr. Raman Badii, head of the molecular genetics lab at Hamad Medical Corporation in Qatar, is visiting the WI State Lab of Hygiene to learn how molecular methods are used to screen for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) and other T-cell lymphopenias. Dr. Badii earned his PhD from Cranfield Biotechnology Centre, UK and completed postdoctoral training at University of Leicester, UK. In 2001, he joined Hamad Medical Corporation, the sole tertiary healthcare provider for the State of Qatar.
