School of Music Faculty Recital

Selvelieva received the D.M.A. degree from UW-Madison last May, following degrees earned at the State Academy of Music in Sofia, Bulgaria and Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. She is a past winner of the UW Symphony's concerto competition and of the Beethoven Piano Competition. This spring she is teaching as a sabbatical replacement for Christopher Taylor. Her program includes works by Beethoven, Vladigerov, Ravel and Rachmaninoff.
