Description
Schools of Hope is a tutoring program that aims to address the achievement gap in education between African-American, Latino, and Southeast Asian students and their white peers in Madison schools. Volunteer tutors commit to serving at least an hour a week at a school for a semester. Tutors work one-to-one or with small groups of students. Hear about the advantages of volunteering. Refreshments provided. Registration encouraged; walk-ins welcome.
