Description
Written by Budd Schulberg, "Wind Across the Everglades" tells of a game warden (Christopher Plummer) sent to Florida to protect the wild birds in Florida's swamps. The young man's mission puts him up against a powerful poacher (Burl Ives) who leads a clandestine and disreputable gang of bird hunters. The feature will be preceded by "The High Green Wall," a 30 minute adaptation of an Evelyn Waugh story that Ray directed for televison's G.E. True Theater, starring Joseph Cotten.
