Super Citizen Ko (Taiwan, 1996, 35mm, 121 min., subtitled). Directed by Wan Jen starring I-Chen Ko, Yang Lin, Ming-Ming Sue A recently released elderly ex-con embarks on a quest for the grave of an old colleague who died under questionable circumstances. The old man’s journey conjures up painful memories of Taiwan’s anti-communist “White Terror” campaigns of the 1950s.
