Description
The Department of Art is proud to start the Visiting Artist Colloquium Lecture Series with the newest Windgate Wood Resident Tasmanian furniture artist, Ross Straker. Since 2002, he has been teaching the Diploma in Art, Craft and Design at the Technical and Further Education institution in Hobart. Straker has taught in the USA during 2003 at the Centre for Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine and at the Rhode Island School of Design.
