UW-Madison Art Department Wednesday Talk

Peter Barrickman will speak of his paintings which uses a variety of small stories to speak universally. The pieces combine drawing, painting and collage, and they share a set of rules (black and white, linear perspective, combination of materials) that are simultaneously disregarded.Over the years, he has worked with installation, painting, set design, film, animation, performance and music. His work has been shown around the U.S., in Mexico, and Europe.
