Disaster Science Studies: Calamity, Recovery, and Science & Technology Studies

Professor Scott Frickel of Washington State argues that the structure and dynamics of science pursued in response to disaster is not well understood, and that there is an urgent need to pay close attention to the political constructions, uses, and consequences of "disaster science."
