Description
Johnson, principal cellist of the Toronto Symphony and former principal cellist of the Milwaukee Symphony, performs works by three "B's": Variations in E-flat major on "Bei Mannern" by Beethoven; Sonata for cello and piano by Britten; and Sonata in F major, Op. 99 by Brahms. Asuncion is associate professor of piano and director of collaborative piano studies at the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music at the University of Memphis.
