John Ahlquist, who joined the Department of Political Science this year, will talk about a chapter from his book manuscript titled “Constructing Communities of Fate: Leaders, Governance and Political Activism in Voluntary Organizations.” Formerly on Florida State University's faculty, he is a research associate in political economy at the United States Studies Centre at the University of Sydney.
