Cinematheque: Waiting for the Moon- Jill Godmilow in person!

This unusual biographical drama depicts one summer in the lives of poet Gertrude Stein and her devoted companion, Alice B. Toklas. While the couple await medical tests results for an ailing Stein, they are visited by Picasso, Apollinaire and Ernest Hemingway. Noted avant-garde filmmaker and film professor Godmilow will participate in a post-screening discussion. This event is co-presented by the UW Cinematheque and the Wisconsin Center for Film and Theater Research.
