Materials Science Seminar

Chris Meyer, a recent graduate from UW-Madison with a BS and MS in mechanical engineering, will take us through the creation of Sector67, a non-profit community workspace on the east side of Madison. Hackerspaces and community workspaces will be explained, as well as a broader movement towards a "maker" culture in the US. Finally, you can learn about the services, opportunities and workspace that Sector67 offers to students. Meyer is a serial competitor in the Burrill Business Plan competition.
