Guest Artist Series

Katherine Lewis is assistant professor of viola and master teacher for the String Project at Illinois State University, and Douglas Jurs is currently on the piano faculty at both the University of Wisconsin and Edgewood College. Their recital highlights two major works for viola and piano written in 1919: Rebecca Clarke's Viola Sonata and Ernest Bloch's Suite for Viola and Piano. The program also includes two other works by the same composers.
