Wolfgang Wasow Memorial Lecture

Henri Berestycki, EHESS Paris, presents. Starting with the description of reaction-diffusion mechanisms in physics, biology and ecology, Berestycki will explain the motivation for this class of non-linear partial differential equations and mention some of the interesting history of these systems. Then, he will review classical results in the homogeneous setting and discuss their relevance.
