How do students learn? How can you help them think critically and apply new knowledge to solve real-world problems? Join visiting scholar Allison Rober, Department of Zoology, Michigan State University, as she overviews an assessment she designed to examine students’ ability to apply knowledge of aquatic chemistry to new situations. Allison is an exchange scholar visiting UW as part of the Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL) Network Exchange Program.
