So far, 13 Tibetans have lit themselves on fire in Tibet. Tibetans have adopted this deadly and controversial political tool to protest Chinese rule in Tibet and the severe restrictions on religious freedom. Join us for a discussion and presentation on the current resistance inside Tibet. Keynote speaker: Jigme Ugen, vice president, SEIU-MN and former president, RTYC-MN. He has presented "Tibet Burning" at colleges across the U.S., including Harvard University.
