Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Hands-on experience with ArcGIS 10 software and different types of geospatial data. Use ArcGIS 10 to view spatial and tabular data files, create thematic maps and perform different types of spatial analysis. Includes a general intro to GIS, an overview of geospatial data types and formats, and an intro to analysis methods, working with tables, querying data based on certain criteria, and displaying/mapping data in ArcGIS software.
