Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Service Day 2012

This event is to honor and reflect on the life of Dr. King, and learn how science and service can intersect. Youth Service Day promotes learning and leadership through hands-on learning and volunteerism. Hundreds of middle and high school youth from diverse multicultural and socioeconomic backgrounds will participate in a morning educational forum focusing on the exploration of science, technology, engineering, math, and medicine. The day will conclude with community service projects.
