Legal issues regarding the production of food are becoming more visible. Stephanie Tai (UW Law School) examines two types of legal conflicts: one involving the regulation of confined animal feeding operations (CAFOs); and the legalization of raw milk sales. Her talk explores the ways in which citizens and public interest groups participate in these legal conflicts — from regulatory and permitting comments to litigation.
