Description
Joseph Dumit (UC-Davis) presents anthropological field work with live-cell imaging biologists and 3D immersive visualization - using (CAVE) geologists and provides a preliminary account of what it means to think of these videos and immersions as "raw data" and what might be called a phenomenological account of how researchers engage this data and turn it into research.
