Description
Citizens United is a 2010 U.S. Supreme Court case holding that the First Amendment prohibits Congress from placing limits on independent spending for political purposes by corporations and unions. The Federalist Society will be hosting a debate on this case and its implications for campaign finance. The debate will be between Allison Hayward from the Center for Competitive Politics and Jay Heck from Common Cause in Wisconsin. Professor Anuj Desai will moderate.
