					Description

With Inés Dussel. Results of research done in secondary schools in Argentina and Chile on teachers' and students' uses of digital media in and out of school. Three aspects of schooling in which broad changes are taking place will be discussed: the structuring of attention in and out of classrooms; the notion and boundaries of cultural archive; and authorship practices. Analysis of the ambivalent and precarious ways in which teachers are responding to those challenges.
