Univ. of Arizona Prof. Gary Rhoades is the author of Academic Capitalism in the New Economy: Challenges and Choices. JHU Press, 2004. Prior to his return to direct UA’s Center for the Study of Higher Education Rhoades was the organizational director of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).
