					Description

Presented by Dawn Biehler of the University of Maryland. Biehler will examine recent geographical and social thought about the home as a “natural” place, as well as reformist and popular literature since the 19th century. Based on this literature, she will attempt to situate today’s politics of the domestic in an understanding of urban geography that values both the private and the collective.
